Rehearsal October 13

Rehearsal went well.  We still have a long way to go.   Remember 8th graders, please decide on a color for the shirts.  Let me know Tuesday.  I will send out another email and post more on the blog when we figure out our schedule for this week.  Cross Country is going to run Maxey Park.

• Maky, Sunny, Reagan, Ashlynn, Reese Riley - do not move during freezes.
• Thanks to Samantha - Willy begins the speech outside the curtain, then "That, my friends, is where our story begins - open curtain, blue wash - everyone frozen - Willy snaps fingers, and we have people noises and the rest of Willy's speech.
• We'll ask Brandon Smith to work with Oompa Loompas
• Reagan, more expression and walk like a fat woman
• Ashlynn and Drew, slow down on kiss and make it big.
• Watch moving tickets because the sparkly paper makes movement obvious.
• Blake, look hungry and tired.
• Newspaper for Jonah
• Cue 3 longer - 1 minute
• Jonah and Blake - slow down.
• Kadyn - second "welcome" needs to be bigger
• People noises when you notice WW, then stop when Drew fans the $
• Kadyn - wink when you are greeting the people and trying to see if you can tell who is who.
• Good job - brushing dirt off Reese
• Reese- make a guttural machine gun noise.
• Everyone, work on lines
• Trees need different - crazy expressions.
• Charlie, when you find the money, we need sounds from you.
• Drew, not so effeminate.  Be arrogant and all knowing.  these people are lower than you.  When you are angry at WW, have a deeper voice and be surprised that it came out of you.
• During people noises - no audible words.
• Evan, when you meet WW, push Mike in the background, smile fakely and shake hands.
• The Oompa Loompas need to be crazier so that you are completely different from the regular people. Pop out one at a time when you are noticed. 
• Sunny - let's just get on with the whole thing - roll your eyes and turn your head toward the audience, looking annoyed. 
• Reagan, be loud and emphasize enormous and have more emotion as you speak.
• Everyone sway in the boat and when Willy jumps in, it needs to move. Nod together - we won't touch anything.
• Riley, let's get you off the floor.  Look at fat people and mimic their body language. Remember, you are sick, so sneeze - wipe your nose & cough.
• Bradleigh - Giggle more high pitched.
• Reagan - flinch more at the terrible animals in Loompaland.
• Ashlynn - look at the pipes, then back at your nails.
• Lights - spot on Riley falling into the water.
• Bradleigh, Haylee, Payton, Alex - synchronize diving from stairs.
• Squirrels - fall down the chute after Mr. Salt.  Whee!
• Oompa loompas - react to WW asking Charlie about living in the factory.
• Kadyn, slow down on the last elevator line.
